Vet's Best Bitter Cherry Training Spray is a bitter-tasting deterrent, sprayed onto furniture, cables or other items to stop a dog from chewing them.

A behavioural tool, addressing the taste rather than the object

Rather than trying to physically block a dog from reaching furniture or cables, this spray makes the taste of whatever it's applied to unpleasant, letting the dog's own reaction do the work of steering it away.

This works through taste aversion, so results depend on how strongly a particular dog responds to the bitter flavour, and reapplication may be needed as the scent fades.

• ✓Bitter taste deterrent. Works through taste aversion, not a physical barrier.
• ✓Applied to furniture, cables or other chew targets.
• ✓May need reapplication as the scent fades.
