Why sterilised cats need a lighter recipe
After sterilisation a cat's energy needs fall by about a quarter while its appetite tends to rise — the recipe for slow, steady weight gain and, with it, a higher risk of urinary problems. Botanicat Sterilized keeps fat low and pairs urinary care (mineral control, methionine, cranberry) with a weight-control complex.
Green tea for antioxidants, ginseng to support metabolism, and spirulina to take the edge off appetite — all in a soft pâté that carries plenty of water.

Composition: meat and derivatives (quail 14%), yeasts, algae (spirulina 0.05%), by-products of vegetable origin (green tea 0.01%), fruit (cranberry 0.01%), minerals.
Additives (per kg): vitamin E 20 mg, vitamin B1 1.5 mg, vitamin B6 0.5 mg, vitamin H (biotin) 0.07 mcg, folic acid 3.9 mcg, taurine 400 mg, zinc sulphate monohydrate 11.3 mg (Zn 4.1 mg), manganese sulphate monohydrate 5.2 mg (Mn 1.7 mg), DL-methionine 1500 mg. Flavourings (natural products): Panax ginseng 10 mg.
How to feed it
Complete food for adult sterilised cats from 1 to 6 years. Serve at room temperature, refrigerate after opening and use within 24 hours. Weight management works with measured portions; use the feeding table as the starting point and adjust to body condition. Straining, crying in the litter tray or blood in the urine are reasons to see a vet immediately.
