FORZA10 Active Cat Intestinal Colon – fish is a complete dietetic wet food in a soft pouch for adult cats, formulated for the nutritional management of one problem: reduction of intestinal absorption problems. Fish is the animal protein, the ingredient list is deliberately short, and the botanical actives are FORZA10's own.
Why fibre is the lever for large-bowel trouble
Problems of the colon — straining, mucus or fresh blood in soft stools, urgency — respond to fibre in a way small-intestine problems don't. Intestinal Colon uses Ascophyllum nodosum brown algae as its fibre source: it adds bulk, feeds the gut bacteria, and helps the colon recover its normal rhythm.
The protein base stays highly digestible (fish, or lamb in the lamb recipe) and sodium and potassium are raised to replace losses. FORZA10 has published clinical work on this approach in dogs with large-bowel diarrhoea.

Composition & analytical constituents
Composition: fish 94% (white fish 58% (Gadus morhua, Melanogrammus aeglefinus, Molva molva, Pleuronectes platessa), salmon 36%), algae (Ascophyllum nodosum) 1.5%, minerals, inulin from chicory.
Additives (per kg): vitamin E 20 mg, vitamin B1 1.5 mg, vitamin B6 0.5 mg, vitamin H (biotin) 0.07 mcg, folic acid 2.7 mcg, taurine 400 mg, zinc sulphate monohydrate 11.3 mg (Zn 4.1 mg), manganous sulphate monohydrate 5.2 mg (Mn 1.7 mg).
How to feed it
Nutritional purpose: Reduction of intestinal absorption problems; compensation of poor digestion and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency; reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances. Recommended period of use: Up to 12 weeks for absorption problems; initially up to 12 weeks and lifetime in chronic pancreatic insufficiency; 3 to 8 weeks for intolerances (initially up to one year if signs disappear). Seek a vet’s opinion before use and before extending.
Daily amounts by body weight are printed on the pack. Fresh water should always be available. Serve at room temperature; refrigerate once opened and use within 24 hours.
Blood in the stool, straining with nothing passed, or a swollen painful belly are reasons to see a vet the same day. Chronic colitis needs a diagnosis so the right phase of diet can be chosen and other causes — parasites, inflammatory bowel disease — ruled out.
This is a dietetic food with a declared nutritional purpose, not an everyday maintenance diet. Use it on a vet's advice, for the period they set, and go back before extending it. It doesn't replace diagnosis or treatment.
