Versele-Laga No-Pick Spray is a bitter-tasting deterrent applied to feathers specifically to discourage feather plucking, a behavioural issue rather than a nutritional one.
A behavioural tool, not a nutritional supplement
Feather plucking is often driven by stress, boredom or an underlying medical issue rather than a nutrient deficiency, and this spray addresses the behaviour directly by making the taste of feathers unpleasant, rather than trying to solve it through diet.
If plucking persists despite this spray, it's worth investigating the underlying cause — stress, boredom or a medical issue — rather than relying on the deterrent alone.
- ✓Bitter-tasting deterrent. Addresses the behaviour, not nutrition.
- ✓Applied directly to feathers.
- ✓Worth investigating the underlying cause if plucking persists.
