Buckwheat instead of a true cereal grain
Buckwheat isn't a true cereal grain despite the name — it's a seed from a flowering plant, without the gluten-family proteins that can trip up a sensitive gut. This recipe uses it specifically for that reason, alongside salmon protein and salmon oil for omega-3s.
Yucca schidigera powder and dried chicory powder round out the recipe for stool odour and prebiotic support.
