Royal Canin Digestive Care is a complete dry food for adult cats whose stomachs are easily upset — the ones who bring meals back up, or whose litter tray tells you something is not settling properly.
Reading the litter tray
Stool quality is the most useful signal most owners have about how well a cat is digesting its food, and it is the one most of us would rather not think about. Loose or inconsistent stools usually mean nutrients are moving through faster than the gut can absorb them.
This formula works on that directly. Royal Canin build it around proteins selected for high digestibility, together with prebiotics and a fibre blend that includes psyllium — the aim being that more of the meal is absorbed and less passes through unused. Royal Canin report over 95% healthy stool quality within ten days of switching, on the strength of their own internal study.

Feeding it
Introduce it slowly over about a week. With a sensitive cat this matters more than usual — an abrupt switch can cause exactly the upset you are trying to fix, and make a good food look like a failure.
Keep meals on a regular schedule and resist table scraps and odd snacks. Royal Canin make this point themselves: a careful formula is easily undone by everything else the cat eats in a day.
Give it a full ten days before judging results, and keep fresh water available throughout.
When it is not a food problem. A digestive-care diet suits a cat with a generally delicate stomach. It is not a treatment. Repeated vomiting, ongoing diarrhoea, blood in the stool, or weight loss all need a vet rather than a change of bag — those signs can point to parasites, thyroid disease, inflammatory bowel disease and other conditions that food alone will not resolve.
