Beaphar Spot-On VETOpure (Small Dog) is built on margosa (neem) extract, a natural repellent rather than an insecticide, sized small dogs.
Repellent, not insecticidal — a genuine mechanism difference
Margosa (neem) extract works by discouraging fleas and ticks from landing or staying on the coat, a genuinely different mechanism from an insecticide that kills pests on contact — this makes it a fit for owners who prefer a non-insecticidal approach.
Some formulations in this line add lavender, lavandin or eucalyptus citriodora oil alongside the neem extract, layering a second natural repellent scent on top.
- ✓Margosa (neem) extract. A natural repellent, not an insecticide.
- ✓Sized for small dogs.
- ✓May include lavender or eucalyptus oil for added repellent scent.
