Bio PetActive Ishamix is a liquid anti-diarrhoea aid for cage birds, built on kaolin — a natural clay long used to settle simple digestive upsets. Given by drops, it's meant to firm up loose droppings and soothe an irritated gut.
How kaolin settles a loose gut
Kaolin is a soft natural clay that has been used across many animals — birds included — as a gastrointestinal protectant. It works physically rather than chemically: it coats the lining of the gut, binds excess water and some bacterial toxins, and in doing so helps firm up loose droppings and calm the irritation behind a mild upset.
Because it acts on the surface of the gut and isn't absorbed into the body, it's a gentle first response to the kind of short-lived, non-infectious loose droppings that follow a change of food, water, or a stressful few days.

When a bird's diarrhoea is an emergency
Small birds dehydrate fast. A bird loses body reserves quickly, and true diarrhoea can become life-threatening within a day or two. This product is a supportive aid for mild, short-lived upsets — it is not a cure and does not replace a vet.
See an avian vet promptly — do not wait it out — if the droppings stay loose beyond about a day, contain blood, or come with a fluffed-up posture, a bird sitting low on the perch, loss of appetite, or noticeable weakness. These can signal infection or illness that clay alone will not fix.
One thing owners often miss: watery droppings and watery urine look similar but aren't the same. If you're not sure which you're seeing, that's itself a good reason to check with a vet.
Using it
Give at the dose printed on the bottle for your bird's size and species — follow the label rather than guessing, and don't exceed it. Shake before use if directed.
Keep fresh water available throughout — a bird with loose droppings needs to keep drinking, and preventing dehydration matters more than any single remedy.
Keep the bottle cool and out of sunlight, sealed after use, and out of reach of children.
