Bio PetActive Herbal Guard is a flea-and-tick shampoo for dogs, built on herbal oils — neem, peppermint and lemongrass — that clean and condition the coat while helping repel fleas and ticks the natural way.

Herbal Guard does two jobs in one wash. As a shampoo it cleanses and revitalises the coat, and its herbal oils moisturise rather than strip — so the skin's natural oils stay put and the coat comes out soft and shiny, which makes it gentle enough for regular use. Neem is the standout here: a plant oil long valued for making an animal a less inviting target for fleas and ticks.
Peppermint and lemongrass round it out with a fresh, clean scent and their own coat benefits. Together the blend leaves the dog cleaner, better-smelling, and less appealing to the pests you're washing it to deal with.

A shampoo, not a full flea treatment
Worth setting expectations honestly: a herbal shampoo cleans the coat and helps deter fleas and ticks during and after the wash, but it isn't a long-acting parasite treatment. For an active infestation, or in high-exposure conditions, use it alongside a proper flea-and-tick preventive (a spot-on, collar, or the product your vet recommends) rather than in place of one. As a regular grooming wash that also discourages pests, it does its job well.
How to use it
Wet the coat thoroughly, work the shampoo into a lather from the neck down, and leave it on for a few minutes so the herbal oils can do their work. Keep it well clear of the eyes, ears and mouth.
Rinse thoroughly and dry — towel puppies dry promptly to avoid a chill. Stop use if any skin irritation appears, and keep the bottle out of reach of children.
This is a dog shampoo and contains peppermint oil. Don't use it on cats — cats process essential oils very differently and are far more sensitive to them. Keep it to the dogs of the household.
