Tested and monitored — a stated quality-control step
Rather than simply stating "hay," ZuPreem specifies that this batch is tested and monitored for pesticides, a transparency detail that matters given how much hay a rabbit or guinea pig eats daily as the bulk of its diet.
Western timothy specifically refers to the growing region, and sun-curing preserves more natural nutrient content than fast mechanical drying methods.
- ✓Tested and monitored for pesticides. A stated quality-control step.
- ✓Western timothy, sun-cured. A specific region and drying method.
