Versele-Laga Shell Sand Kristal Aniseed is a mineral grit and sand product that lines the cage floor while also aiding digestion when a bird ingests small amounts of it.

Grit does a job seeds alone can't

Birds don't have teeth to grind their food, and swallowed grit sits in the gizzard to help mechanically break down seeds and other hard foods — a genuine digestive function, not just cage floor covering. Ingesting small amounts as they walk and forage is normal and beneficial.

This variant is aniseed-scented, adding a mild aroma on top of its main function.
