Beaphar Shampoo Dimethicare with Aloe Vera combines dimethicone with the regular act of bathing, immobilising fleas, ticks, lice and mites physically rather than through an insecticide.
The same physical mechanism, folded into bath time
This delivers the same silicone-based physical action found in Beaphar's DimethiCare Line-On pipettes and spray — coating and immobilising parasites rather than poisoning them — but combined with a regular shampoo, letting owners handle coat cleaning and parasite protection together.
Aloe vera is included to soothe the skin during bathing, and this physical mechanism means resistance is far less of a concern than with chemical insecticides.
