Where Dr. Clauder's other recipes use one or two functional botanicals, this one includes eight distinct dried herbs — nettle, blackberry leaves, yarrow, fennel, caraway, chamomile, mistletoe and gentian root — a genuinely different herbal profile from the milk-thistle-and-green-tea combination used in the brand's lamb-and-rice line.
At 30% fresh lamb plus 15% dried lamb protein, animal protein content is substantial, with sweet potato, peas and tapioca replacing grain entirely.
