Beso Adult Chicken is a complete dry food for cats over a year old, built on chicken with fish-derived proteins alongside it. Made in Turkey, and priced for feeding a cat every day rather than as an occasional upgrade.
Why the protein source matters
Cats are obligate carnivores in a stricter sense than most people realise. They cannot make enough taurine, arachidonic acid or vitamin A from plant sources the way dogs and humans can — they have to take them in ready-made, from animal tissue. A cat fed on protein that is mostly plant-derived can be eating plenty and still fall short.
This recipe leads on chicken and adds fish proteins alongside it. The combination broadens the amino acid profile and brings in marine fats, which is why a fish component turns up in most cat foods that take the carnivore point seriously.

Feeding it
Beso recommend introducing it mixed with your cat's current food at first, increasing the proportion gradually. Around a week is the usual span — a sudden change is the commonest cause of an upset stomach after a food switch.
Follow the daily amount on the pack for your cat's weight, and adjust for how active your cat actually is. An indoor cat in an air-conditioned flat needs noticeably less than one that spends its day outdoors.
Fresh water always available, and plenty of it. Cats on dry food take in far less moisture than those eating wet, so several bowls around the house — away from the food and the litter tray — are worth the trouble.
Reseal the bag after each use and keep it out of the heat. Dry food loses palatability and the fats go stale faster in a warm cupboard than most people expect — buy a size you will get through in a few weeks rather than the largest bag available.
